During my internship at Catalystnow I got to meet the Lebanon Chapter team members and I felt like I could contribute my time and expertise specifically regarding the financial aspect, to assist in completing initiatives and reaching our goals

I hope to collaborate with other startups to share ideas and resources, learn from experts in the field, and contribute to Catalyst 2030's mission of creating a more sustainable future. I believe that by working together, we can make a real difference in the world.

My motivation to join Catalyst 2030 stems from my deep commitment to driving positive change aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. I aim to contribute my expertise in waste recycling and sustainable energy solutions, fostering collaboration and innovative strategies to address environmental challenges. By joining this movement, I hope to receive valuable insights, forge partnerships, and amplify the impact of my initiatives through collective action and shared knowledge.

I received an eMail from your part inciting me to contribute, and I have been always passionate of the SDGs and human-centred initiatives.

To have a positive impact.

Ihssane is all out to empower the youths, by promoting an inclusive and equitable world of labour as a key to socio-economic integration. Her engagement, through personal and professional outreach, has been to empower those who need it most, because it is with whom we can generate the highest impact and create role models that, in turn, inspire their community. As the Founder and the President of the Federation of Students and Youth Organizations – FOEJA, she aims at building the capacity of youngsters, with a focus on NEET (Not in Education, Employment, Nor training). The multiple socio-economic challenges such as high unemployment, lack of access to quality education and political disenfranchisement, led to this vision. She has mobilised major stakeholders to reach out to over 50,000 youngsters towards capacity building and facilitating access to opportunities by providing access to “Active Labour Market Policies (ALMPs), access to employment and support to entrepreneurship. There is a multiplier effect through fruitful partnerships, the federation indeed welcomes other African associations with the vision to replicate a similar impact across the continent. Also, her focus is be on how the private sector can engage more to fight inequalities through economic inclusion of underprivileged populations.

I feel the core values and the principals that are the base of Catalyst reflect my own.

I hope to contribute my knowledge and expertise in Nutrition to the Catalyst 2030 community. I am also looking forward to learning from others and see how we can work together to achieve our shared objectives.

Having faith that investing in such person with its own skills and background will certainly achieves a fairer world. Regarding my law background i will work hard to benefit from the collaboration with catalyst to ahieve my goal in attending social justice.

Applying my expertise

Catalyst 2030 is a global movement comprised of organizations and individuals dedicated to addressing some of the world's most pressing challenges. By joining Catalyst 2030, I aim to contribute to positive change and make a meaningful impact in people's lives. This movement provides a platform for collaboration, innovation, and collective action, allowing me to leverage my skills, experiences, and resources to drive sustainable solutions and create tangible benefits for our communities.

I have been part of DiaLeb since 2016 as a volunteer, and I am currently completing a 6-month internship with the organization. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from USEK, and I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Diplomacy and Strategic Negotiations at Sagesse University in Lebanon. Alongside my academic path, I have remained deeply engaged in diabetes awareness, youth empowerment, and sustainable health initiatives. I also serve as a Young Leader in Diabetes (YLD) with the International Diabetes Federation, where I contribute the lived-experience perspective and advocate for improved access to diabetes care across our region. Given your long-standing work in sustainability and youth-led initiatives, I believe my background and experience align strongly with your vision. I would be grateful for the opportunity to join your network, contribute to ongoing projects, and collaborate on efforts that support young people living with diabetes.

A young social activist for more than 10 years, passionate about youth and women empowerment, a youth member of the Global Youth Leadership Advisory Board GYLAB with DOT Canada, and a steering committee member with Restless development London, with a great civic engagement with local NGOs, shaped my personality, transferred an introvert young person to never being left on the sidelines while influencing other young people as well! Thus I believe my background and passion is greatly aligned with Catalyst 2030!

I hope to contribute to the movement by bringing my expertise in sustainability, waste to energy and circular economy. I aim to foster collaboration, share insights, and support others in achieving their goals within this dynamic community. In return, I’m looking to connect with like-minded professionals, exchange knowledge, and stay inspired by the collective wisdom and diverse perspectives of the community.

I am motivated by the urge to put ideas into action and contribute to significant change. Catalyst Now represents a community of innovators and changemakers, which coincides with my interests in activism, education, and innovative issue solving. I believe in the power of communal energy, and participating means increasing my impact through collaboration.

One of the main reasons I am joining the network is because of its focus on collaboration and sharing knowledge. As an entrepreneurship center, we understand the importance of working with others to create innovative solutions to complex problems. We believe that collaboration and knowledge sharing are key to creating sustainable and scalable solutions that can have an exponential impact. Through our work with Catalyst 2030, we hope to collaborate with other organizations and individuals who share our passion for social and environmental impact. We believe that by working together, we can achieve more than we ever could on our own. In addition to collaboration, we are also excited about the opportunity to share our knowledge and expertise with others. As a university-based center, we have access to a wealth of resources and expertise that we believe can be valuable to others in the network. Whether it's through workshops, mentorship, or other forms of support, we are committed to sharing what we know and learning from others in the process. Finally, we are joining Catalyst 2030 because we believe in the power of exponential impact. We believe that even small actions can have a ripple effect that leads to significant positive change. By joining forces with other like-minded organizations and individuals, we hope to create a movement that can drive exponential impact and make a real difference in the world.
