The Sustainable Ethical Fashion Collaboration
Description
The Sustainable Ethical Fashion Collaboration unites a diverse group of stakeholders from various sectors, including fashion brands, designers, manufacturers, technology providers, investors, policymakers, nonprofits, and educational institutions. We are united by a shared vision to build a sustainable, ethical fashion industry system, with a focus on fostering collaboration to drive innovation, resilience, and collaborative economics. Our collaboration is a global network within Catalyst Now, committed to creating a high-impact ecosystem that drives systemic social change and increases economic power in the Global South and the diaspora. This ecosystem thrives on extreme collaboration, facilitating the sharing and creation of resources, funding, and support for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), artisans, and other ethical actors across connecting sectors. Together, our collective actions drive systemic change, address under-resourced needs, and shift economic power and create social equity. We provide a platform for members to engage, learn, and connect, contributing to a larger movement for a just, resilient, and equitable future. Built on mutual support, every member’s contribution strengthens the network, amplifying our collective impact. Together, we are building a new sustainable, ethical fashion industry system that is transformative and resilient.

The VartaLeap Coalition
Description
The VartaLeap coalition is a cross-sectoral group of 90 youth engaging the development sector, government, media, institutions, and UN agencies who seek to create a movement towards a new norm – Every Youth A Jagrik and Every Space Nurturing Jagriks. Our Vision: All formal & non-formal learning spaces & systems become crucibles of grassroots leadership for young people (specially women) by co-creating vibrant cross sectoral ecosystems. Our Mission: Every youth a Jagrik, every space nurturing Jagriks becomes a norm (Jagrik is a self-awakened active citizen not only leading the change but also being the change) Key Concept at the centre of our strategy : Co-creating 5th Spaces The 5th Space is a space that exists beyond and between the 4 legitimate spaces occupied by youth that is Family, Friends, Education/ Career and Leisure/ Entertainment. These erstwhile spaces for youth are often governed by others and the rules of these spaces are often not set by young people. The 5th Space on the other hand is a safe and non judgemental space that: 1. is co- created and co-led by young people 2. offers compelling experiential Self to Society Journeys, focussing on a. Deep Self Awareness b. Building relationships with ‘others’ 3. Social Action 4. Facilitates cross border peer and intergenerational dialogue 5. Nurtures social inclusion, holistic development and social hope
