Pathways to Climate Resilience

Across Oceania, climate change is hitting harder and faster than many regions. Rising seas, saltwater intrusion, and erratic rainfall are threatening freshwater supplies. For remote island communities, access to clean water isn’t just a challenge—it’s a frontline crisis. Climate resilience here means protecting lives, cultures, and futures. By amplifying local voices and sharing lived experiences, Catalyst Now helped grassroots innovators find each other. It wasn’t just about technology—it was about trust, culture, and co-creation across the Pacific.
People of Oceania draw extensively on traditional knowledge of sustainable systems and the latest suitable technology to initiate and develop projects in the region that enhance resiliency.
Pacific Pathways is working to show that resilience starts at the grassroots. By spotlighting community-led success, it’s shaping regional climate agendas to be more inclusive, adaptive, and locally grounded.
