We will bring together a community of students, faculty, staff, and local businesses to learn how businesses can innovate and improve their social impact by aligning their strategic and sustainability goals. This event will include presentations by teams of students drawn from two classes (90 students total) who have been working with external corporate partners over several months. Several of the partner organizations are Catalyst 2030 members. These presentations highlight recommendations for these companies to improve, innovate, and make a positive impact on society. The event will give us the opportunity to compare and contrast these projects. Furthermore, the event will help inspire more research and increased collaborations between academia and corporations to address societal problems.
