When We Thrive, Our World Thrives

Dream a Dream’s first book, “When We Thrive, Our World Thrives – Stories of Young People Growing Up with Adversity,” got recently published. The book, authored by Connie K Chung, EdD along with Vishal Talreja, Dream a Dream staff and programme participants, showcases the compelling personal journeys of 20 graduates of the Dream a Dream program. In this session, we would be see from the lens of stories and research, how young people are not defined by their adversity and can thrive with the right support. Our session is an attempt to create a mindset shift among young people and the ecosystem and to truly understand what young people need to thrive.
