Agro Campany for Integral Development(Agrocid)

Agro Company for integral Development (Agrocid) is a company that was founded in 2018. It was created after two observations, the first is in the eating habits of the population of the Democratic Republic of Congo and South Kivu which was becoming more and more demanding in relation to what they ate. The second is bad agricultural practice that did not take into account the biological life of the soil. Our main activity is to produce, process and sell agri-food products. In our agricultural projects we promote symbiosis between the earth, soil biology, plants, pollinators, insects and fungi. This model allows each section of the farm (animal, plant, compost section) to work not only for its own survival but also for the survival of the other section. This model is unique because it helps to fight against the extinction of biodiversity and to produce sustainable food. The advantage of this model is that it helps to maintain the ecosystem balance, which is a key element in avoiding contact between humans and certain microbes. Agrocid is located in the Democratic Republic of Congo, in South Kivu in the city of Bukavu. It stands out from the others not only for the quality of the food it produces, but above all for the construction of an ecological framework for the protection of biodiversity, which is the driving force behind agricultural production. We sell our own products directly to consumers, but we are also called upon in the event of consultancy in private public companies.
