Can Youth (CY)

Can Youth is a registered nonprofit organization based in Dimapur, Nagaland founded in the year 2010 by Jenpu Rongmei in loving memory of his brother who was a victim of drugs and lost his life through it, the trauma of his brother’s death and coupled with alcoholic father and mother a victim of domestic violence which make him to dropout from school but he didn’t give up and make his anger into opportunity to work for the people living with a difficult circumstances, currently Can Youth is working in 5 districts of Nagaland, dedicated to fostering positive change and empowering the community especially focusing on Women, Child and Youth from Migration family and Minority tribals. Can Youth focus and committed to addressing diverse social issues like drop outs, health, education, child & adolescent rights, leadership, skill building and livelihood. Can Youth strive to create a lasting impact and cultivate a generation of socially responsible leaders through innovative initiatives, ideas, advocacy and collaborative partnership, Can Youth stand as a beacon of inspiration and encouraging young individuals to contribute for the betterment of the community and the world at large.
