Independent (Renia Tyminski)

Over 4 decades I've conducted independent research on body-based and trauma-informed language training methods. I offer specialized immersion training at my heritage property in Eastern Ontario, where I'm also creating a climate change-informed healing and learning space on 2 acres of green space featuring native plants to encourage pollinators. I network widely with local organic farmers; former academic colleagues; social entrepreneurs and cross cultural community builders. I'm the cofounder of the County Sustainability Group and Transition PEC, and am pursuing an interest in the decolonizing impact of the Two-Eyed Seeing approach through interactions and collaborations with Indigenous activists and educators. I'm interested in sharing experiential and professional knowledge related to existential concerns while creating an optional reality in language. I'm also looking for inspiration and practical possibilities to make my legacy project sustainable.
