Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS)

Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) is a non-government, non-political and non–profitable community development organization located at Kurigram District; in north part of Bangladesh. Since inception, MJSKS has been working with the most vulnerable people who are disadvantaged, distressed, persons with disabilities and the extreme poor; especially focusing island char and attached char areas in different locations of Kurigram, Rangpur and Lalmonirhat district. Vision:  To uplift the socio-economic conditions of the vulnerable community Mission:  ¬To assist the vulnerable community for their development through Education, Training, Social Awareness, Gender and Development  Creates employment opportunities of the marginal youth by proving vocational skills.  To reduce social insecurity for women & children  ¬To ensure Governance for Quality Education  ¬To ensure Water Supply, Environmental Sanitation & Hygiene promotion  ¬To provide IGA-support (fish culture, agriculture, livestock etc.) to the community for improve their livelihood  ¬To provide humanitarian support for restoring damaged of livelihood  ¬To form community based organizations (CBO, VDC and federation) to mitigate their community interests.
