Mahouna Farms

MAHOUNA FARMS is a family-owned social enterprise dedicated to creating smart and sustainable agricultural solutions in response to smallholder farming challenges in Africa. We combine age-old traditions and modern technology to fuel the future. Our mission is to revolutionise agriculture in Africa by combining traditional knowledge with the latest technological advances. We aspire to improve food production, raise the standard of living of smallholder farmers and contribute to a sustainable food system across the continent. Our main partners are smallholder farmers, especially underprivileged women and single mothers who wish they could produce Food more efficiently and make a sustainable living. They struggle due to the lack of access to reliable healthcare services resulting in low productivity and huge loss in revenue. In some cases, it may also result in the abandonment of agricultural activities altogether, further exacerbating poverty and food insecurity. Our approach is getting our smallholder with updated data regarding accurate ways of production and also agro - education. We are currently developing a sustainable healthcare system to help better their working conditions.

By sharing innovative technological solutions and best practices that empower smallholder farmers, improving their productivity and livelihoods. Additionally, I aim to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among stakeholders to amplify our collective impact. In return, I seek feedback and insights to refine our initiatives, opportunities for partnerships, and access to resources and networks that can support and enhance our efforts, enabling to drive sustainable agricultural development.
