About the role
Catalyst Now has transformed from its beginnings as a nimble, startup enterprise to a fast-growing movement.
The Partnerships Coordinator ensures that Catalyst Now’s fundraising activities run smoothly, reliably, and professionally. This role provides the operational backbone that allows the Fundraising Lead and senior leadership to focus on strategy, relationships, and closing funding, while ensuring that every opportunity, grant and donor is properly tracked, supported, and delivered.
This role ensures that Catalyst Now’s fundraising function is professional, credible, and dependable, giving funders confidence and enabling the organisation to grow sustainably.
The role works closely with:
- The Fundraising & Partnerships Lead
- The Finance team
- Programme and Secretariat staff
- External funders and partners (for operational coordination)
Key responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Fundraising Pipeline & Revenue Operations:
- Maintain the fundraising pipeline and tracking tools
- Monitor proposal status, grant agreements, invoices, and payments
- Follow up on outstanding payments and commitments
- Support the onboarding of new donors and partners
- Schedule and support pipeline and fundraising review meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.
Grants and Funding Support:
- Research and track funding opportunities, deadlines, and reporting requirements
- Maintain the grants calendar and ensure all applications and reports are submitted on time
- Compile and coordinate materials for grant applications
- Draft and submit small and medium grant proposals as needed
- Support compliance with funder requirements.
Donor and Partner Stewardship
- Maintain and update the CRM and donor database
- Process donations, pledges, and acknowledgements
- Prepare funder updates, reports, and basic impact summaries
- Coordinate stewardship activities such as meetings, updates, and follow-ups
- Ensure funders receive timely, accurate, and professional communications.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising, grants management, or operations support
- Strong organizational and tracking skills
- Comfort working with CRMs, spreadsheets, and document systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to articulate complex information in a compelling way to advocate for change
- Ability to develop strategic engagement plans for individuals and organizations
- Proactive coordination skills to ensure seamless communication and pipeline management across different leads and initiatives.
Catalyst Now Offers

- Pay USD 1200-1500 monthly, commensurate with demonstrable experience and location.
Job location
This position is remote and can be carried out from anywhere in the world with 4 hours overlap with CET working hours.
