Andrés' interest in joining Catalyst 2030 likely derives from his commitment to advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aligns with Catalyst 2030's mission. His extensive experience in international development, expertise in innovative knowledge management and customised learning frameworks, leadership and conflict resolution skills, and deep understanding of cross-sector collaboration can significantly contribute to the network. Furthermore, his work on Propel, a tool designed for organisational learning and knowledge management, can provide valuable insights for leveraging technology to drive operational efficiency and impactful outcomes within Catalyst 2030.

We joined Catalyst 2030 from the very beginning and since that we collaborate with the Latam Chapter because we are a believers that we can achieve more impact collaborating across different sectors and regions.

Aim and objectives of the Catalyst

ISSTA will share experiences on challenges to sustainable development in Uganda and Africa in general. It will seek replication models of various response actions that network NSAs have implemented to circumvent inclusive growth challenges in which duty bearers have blocked progress on SDGs achievement in areas of climate justice, health justice, fair distribution of economic opportunities, human rights observance in a context of newly found oil and mineral wealth and the ensuant land grabbing.

Joining Catalyst 2030 stems from a deep desire to make a positive impact on the world. Witnessing pressing global challenges, I felt compelled to be part of a movement that aligns with my vision of a just and sustainable future. Catalyst 2030’s collaborative approach, uniting social entrepreneurs and change-makers, inspired me. I believe that together, we can tackle complex issues more effectively. Joining this community fuels my determination to contribute meaningfully to social change

Peopled is a social enterprise start-up with an ambitious goal to reduce inequality by connecting disadvantaged people with volunteers and donors supporting their cause. I trust that wonderful partnerships and collaboration could arise from the connection with peers in Catalyst 2030 who share a similar purpose. I also believe the connection with leaders who have longer experience in pursuing an impact on inequality and other SDGs could bring invaluable learning.

I aim to empower marginalized youth through Catalyst 2030 by creating inclusive programs and advocating for their integration. I'll contribute expertise in youth development, collaborative strategies, and diverse stakeholder engagement. In return, I look forward to learning from members' experiences, accessing resources, receiving mentorship, and amplifying impact through global partnerships.

I am interested in participating in the Catalyst 2030 because I believe it will provide me with the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the world. I am also excited to be a part of a community of people who are passionate about making a positive impact and allow me to learn from their expertise and experience, and to network with other talented individuals. It will also be a platform to us to exchange knowledge and information and come up with solutions.

We specialize in mobilizing youth and vulnerable communities for climate resilience in their countries and communities. We have learnt a lot working in th refugee context and use humanitarian principles and values as the foundation of our climate resilience strategies, focusing social solidarity economies.

I bring apicultural + climate + engineering expertise across a wide array of geographies to the table, and hope to contribute a systems-level approach to climate adaptation. I would be honoured to share my experience and insights regarding agricultural innovation with others. From the community, I am looking for scaling partners and funding avenues that will help Beekon to deploy in the regions most threatened by flooding. I hope to collaborate with other initiatives that share overlap with our mission.

We were motivated to joint catalyst because we are passionate about driving social change, collaborating with others to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, and creating a more equitable and sustainable world.

I am looking to learn from other members, benefit from resources and share lessons from projects I have managed from the Global South. I am also looking to share experiences and benefit from adaptable best practices.

I believe that the platforms I've founded can be a powerful contributor to creating an enabling environment for social innovators and social entrepreneurs to flourish across Africa. Directly through providing an infrastructure solution to raise the funds needed for 1000's of impact focused projects at to provide evidence of impact to supports - enabling sustainable committed communities of funders. I attended the launch of AfricaForward Nov '23. I committed to specific deliverables from that.

By joining the Catalyst 2030 community, I hope to bring forward the importance of sustainable work in countries like Senegal where food security and daily lives have been adversely affected by climate change. I look forward to connecting with similar organizations and learn from them what works and what does not work. I believe a community where experiences are shared for the overall welfare of all is very needed in today's world of philanthropy, and that is what I would like to be a part of.

My organisation Community Design Agency is currently in the growth phase. I believe that being a part of Catalyst wil provide access to resources and knowledge exchange with others who are in a similar phase as well as those who have successfully established their organisations. I am also looking for form meaningful collaborations to bring about spatial transformation to create a more equitable built environment.
