I have a deep-rooted belief that our generation must and has the power to solve poverty. I believe we need to challenge the status quo across the entire system: consumers, companies, NGOs. It is my mission to scale our solution further to eliminate poverty and thus to help solve SDG # 1. Founded this Social Enterprise when I found out that solving poverty problems at a root cause with donor capital only is not empowering nor sustainable. With our developed Get Out program communities can break the poverty cycle within a year, simultaneously we help them to become independent. People need to work and earn their own money. We create great designs and jobs for hundreds of people. We pay them 6 x minimum wage. We make products consumers want to buy (not your typical NGO product) and are willing to pay a price for which enables people to Stay Out of poverty. Clients: 300+ stores worldwide including many large museum stores (Rijksmuseum, van Gogh, SF MoMA) as well as Vitra, Rituals and KLM. We made over 1 million products in 2020. We are currently creating a platform to catalyse our reach and provide our software open source. It is my passion to inspire others to do the same.
