World Disaster Center

The World Disaster Center (WDC) was founded by young dreamers who believe disasters can be prevented, or at the very least, their impacts reduced. Outdated frameworks must urgently be reexamined. At WDC, we harness advanced technologies to connect initiatives, support individuals and organizations, and equip people with simple, user-friendly tools to safeguard their lives. When people feel safe, they can build, grow, and dream. Resilience is not a privilege, it is the foundation of progress.

Dear Catalyst community, My Mentor Monika Barcikowska has directed me to the Catalyst Community and I would like to become an active member this year. I would like to contribute to the community with virtual engagement towards our common goals. Working at the World Disaster Center puts us at the center of Catalysts mission to bring together impactful social innovation initiatives. Bringing our solutions to this community, engaging as speakers at events and creating collaborations is an our aim.
