FairMail is a social enterprise that sells fair trade cards made with pictures taken by underprivileged teenage photographers from Peru. The photographers receive 60% of the proceeds and invest the money in their education. • Trade vs. Aid: the money that the photographers receive is earned, not donated. • "Life changing" vs. "Day changing" impact: they earn money over a period of 5 to 10 years • Positive vs. Pitiful Representation: We refuse to convey the image of poor, disadvantaged children
