EPIC-Africa Foundation

EPIC-Africa is among a growing number of African organizations seeking to strengthen the philanthropy support infrastructure on the continent. A Senegal-based, US-registered (501 (c) (3), nonprofit organization, EPIC-Africa seeks to strengthen the impact of philanthropy in Africa by filling critical data and capacity gaps. It leverages technology to gather, analyze and share data to increase the visibility, credibility, and knowledge of African CSOs so that they can be more easily found, vetted and supported. EPIC-Africa also provides CSOs and their funders services and tools that aim to set standards and ensure continuous improvement in performance and impact, champion new approaches, and advocate for better policies to support the sector.
