Tinker Foundation

Mission to promote the development of an equitable, sustainable, and productive society in Latin America. Tinker realizes it’s mission by providing funding to organisations working to address the region’s most pressing challenges. Previously gave in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Peru, Paraguay, and will consider grants in other LATAM regions. Areas of focus are: sustainable resource management, water management, democratic governance, education. Target beneficiaries are youth, low-income people, adults, researchers, and students. As of 2023, total giving was $58,975,150, awarding 658 grants. Does not have a history of giving $1 million grants; gives between $200,000 to $400,000.
