Nguvu Collective

Nguvu Collective has developed a unique approach that focuses on building collectives of women Change Leaders who are running campaigns and driving impact together. We have supported over 450 women from marginalised communities to become well-known and impactful leaders driving social change (“Change Leaders”). We embrace feminist principles and collective leadership, particularly empowering women from marginalised communities to drive change together. Building collectives of these leaders strengthens shared values and focuses efforts on systemic issues, amplifying the impact. Our vision is to create a world where more women are in positions of social power and leadership, driving systemic change for their communities and countries through the strength of their collectives. Our purpose is to facilitate movement ready collectives of women change leaders from marginalised communities in the global south that have the power to drive large scale social impact, shift power and make systematic changes.
