Independent (Eric Onyango)

I am an experienced project manager and international development practitioner with a university background in Bachelor of Education French and Economics and 14 years of experience in international development, Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, Cultural Relations, Research, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Events management and International Conference Moderation and consultancy. With a robust multi-country background, I am confident that my skills and expertise align perfectly with the requirements of the role.my experience encompasses project design, workshop facilitation, conference hosting, and product launches. I have facilitated team-building sessions for the Reproductive Health Network and served as Master of Ceremonies and lead facilitator at four of their annual adolescent and youth sexual reproductive health and rights scientific conferences. Notably, I played a pivotal role in launching the Africa chapter of the Idea Initiative in collaboration with Planned Parenthood Federation in June 2022. My ability to bridge language and cultural gaps has consistently led to successful project outcomes. In the course of my work I have always adopted an individualized support to grantees from diverse backgrounds and geographies, always incorporating a needs assessment approach. This has enabled me to understand their needs and allow the technical assistance approach to be individualized and consider what each organization and individual needs as they go about their work. I have recently commenced volunteer work with organizations working at the intersection of climate justice and reproductive health
