In the Global South, especially in rural Zimbabwe, students face barriers to education that go far beyond classrooms and textbooks. Poverty pushes many into bush boarding or herding cattle instead of studying. Girls are forced to miss school during menstruation for lack of resources. Families living under constant strain cannot prioritize learning, leaving children to shoulder adult responsibilities too early. These realities slow progress and create an uneven playing field where talent is lost, not because students cannot learn, but because systems refuse to let them thrive. Tuition alone does not solve this. Pachipamwe exists to fill the gaps and reimagine support so that students are approached as whole human beings. We ensure access to quality schooling, but we also surround students with mentorship, emotional guidance, and opportunities to connect with professionals across the diaspora. At the same time, we support their families with care packages, health check-ins, and stability measures so that education becomes possible without constant sacrifice. By weaving together students, families, communities, and global partners, Pachipamwe transforms education from a transaction into an ecosystem of care. Our theory of change is rooted in this holistic vision. The problem is systemic barriers that lock out the most vulnerable. The pathway is to treat education as shared responsibility, addressing the student and their ecosystem together. The result is not only academic achievement, but confidence, resilience, leadership, and long-term stability. Over time, this work interrupts cycles of poverty and cultivates a generation of young people from marginalized communities who are equipped to inspire and lead. Our mission is to walk alongside students as they pursue education, dignity, and freedom. Our vision is a future where no young person has to choose between going to school and surviving at home. Pachipamwe is a movement to level the playing field, restore dignity, and prove that when care is holistic, students thrive.

I want to contribute boldness and vulnerability to this community. My background in nonprofit strategy, combined with my lived experience as a Zimbabwean woman founder, gives me a perspective that bridges vision with practicality, grounded in both global insight and community-rooted care. I believe need should be met with action, not just intention. For me, it is not enough to admire from the sidelines. I am here to build alongside others, to share what I know about development and resource building, and to co-create solutions that are daring, grounded, and transformative.
