Transforming Nonprofits with Purpose-Driven Governance: MCIS Language Solutions
This session explores how nonprofit organizations can embed Social Purpose Governance (SPG) into their DNA. Moving beyond traditional compliance-focused governance, SPG aligns an organization’s leadership, operations, and strategy with its social purpose through concrete changes to bylaws, strategic and advocacy plans, and performance metrics. Using MCIS Language Solutions as a case study, we’ll share practical tools for transitioning from “purpose as aspiration” to “purpose in action.” Learn how MCIS implemented SPG to strengthen stakeholder trust, improve accountability, and adapt to complex societal challenges.
