Independent (Courtney Savie Lawrence)

For over 15 years, and across more than 70 countries, I have worked at the intersection of inclusive climate innovation, sustainability and regenerative development for systems transformation. My intention to make a positive contribution continues and my experience bridges the cross sector spectrum: from working within the United Nations on Climate, Technology, Digital Innovation and Sustainability Strategies and Partnerships, to kicking off the Oxford Climate Tech Initiative (focused on the green energy transition), and the Circular Design Lab (leveraging coalitions, systemic design and circular approaches to complex emergencies like air pollution and waste management). Over the past 15 years I have helped mobilize major complex initiatives, supported the launch of a pioneering ‘Clean Air Act’ national policy campaign in Thailand, and brokered hundreds of high impact collaborations and partnerships around the world. Other initiatives include co-authoring 'Inclusive Innovation' Bridging Theory, Policy and Practice, published in the Routledge Press, and researching climate innovation and systems change through the Skoll Center Systems Change Accelerator grant and the Executive MBA program at the Oxford Saïd Business School.
