Tamirat Tesfaye is a dedicated advocate working at the critical intersection of climate resilience, sustainable agriculture, and youth empowerment. His mission is to bridge grassroots community action with global policy dialogues to foster equitable and sustainable development. His work is driven by a vision of a multipolar world where Global South communities are food-secure, climate-resilient, and empowered to lead their own futures. He believes true progress is achieved by turning local knowledge and youth innovation into scalable solutions for global challenges. Professional Journey: Tamirat's path is defined by turning local insight into global impact. His foundational experience began in the communities of Southern Ethiopia, working directly on livestock and agricultural development. This grassroots understanding fuels his leadership in mobilizing thousands of young Africans as Country Director for the Africa Youth Festival Ethiopia and in global advocacy roles, where he has represented frontline perspectives at international forums, including COP28 and the World Youth Festival. As a Master's scholar in Russia, he continues to deepen his expertise to further this mission.
