I joined Catalyst Now because I believe the world's most complex challenges can only be solved through collaborative systems leadership. Over the past decade, I have worked to transform systems across healthcare, transport, sport and public policy by embedding the lived experience of disabled people into decision-making. This has included leading national policy changes in the UK, from ending disabled parking charges across NHS hospitals to securing disability inclusion within London's ULEZ scheme. My work is now expanding onto the international stage through the Disability20 (D20) initiative, where I serve on the D20 Steering Group and UK Transition Group. The D20 seeks to establish disability as a permanent part of G20 engagement, ensuring that the voices of 1.3 billion disabled people are embedded in global economic and social policymaking. Catalyst Now brings together people who understand that lasting change happens by transforming systems rather than solving problems in isolation. I joined to learn from fellow systems leaders, share practical experience of delivering policy and systems change, and collaborate across sectors to create greater collective impact.
