GRACE Foundation
I am a passionate social entrepreneur, inclusive girl education advocate, and community development catalyst hailing from Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. For more than two decades, I have worked at the grassroots level to promote inclusive girl education, youth empowerment, community development, and social justice, particularly for marginalized communities living in remote mountainous villages. Despite many personal and social challenges, I remained committed to transforming education and creating opportunities for children, girls, youth, and people with disabilities.
I am the Co-Founder and CEO of, the nonprofit, GRACE Association Pakistan established in 2007 and registered under Section 42 of the Companies Act in Pakistan. GRACE stands for Grassroots Association for Community Empowerment. GRACE envisions a peaceful, prosperous, and inclusive society where marginalized communities can achieve their social and economic aspirations with dignity and equal opportunities.
The mission of GRACE Association is to empower vulnerable and underserved communities through quality education, skills development, youth leadership, women empowerment, environmental awareness, and community-based development initiatives. The organization strongly believes in equity, inclusion, sustainability, and participatory development.
Over the years, GRACE Association has directly supported thousands of children, youth, teachers, and communities through innovative educational programs, English language and leadership initiatives, STEM and environmental education, girls’ education advocacy, teacher training, humanitarian support, and grassroots community mobilization. GRACE has collaborated with national and international partners including the U.S. Embassy Islamabad, UNDP, the GFC, and other development agencies to expand educational opportunities and improve lives in underserved areas of Pakistan.
