The company specializes in the processing of locally sourced fruits into healthy, nutritious, and affordable frozen snacks and fruit-based products under the Krystal Icepops brand. The business was established to address Uganda’s high post-harvest fruit losses, limited agro-processing capacity, and increasing demand for healthier food alternatives.

My motivation for being part of Catalyst Now is to connect with people and organisations that can help Krystal Ice grow responsibly. I want to learn from other changemakers, find partnerships in nutrition, circular food systems, sustainable packaging, cold-chain technology and digital solutions, and share our experience supporting smallholder farmers and reducing fruit waste. I also hope to access regional and international collaboration opportunities, especially technology transfer and market connections. Through this community, I want to strengthen Krystal Ice’s contribution to healthier, more active communities while creating jobs and expanding opportunities for farmers. I am also motivated to contribute my knowledge and collaborate on practical solutions for sustainable development.
