Rwanda Chapter

Catalyst Now Rwanda unites social innovators committed to accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through collaborative and integrated approaches. By engaging communities, entrepreneurs, and civil society organizations, we work to strengthen Rwanda’s social impact ecosystem and drive sustainable change. Our priorities include promoting social entrepreneurship, advancing mental health awareness, fostering economic inclusion, and addressing environmental sustainability. Through targeted initiatives such as capacity-building workshops, awareness campaigns, and strategic partnerships, we empower individuals and organizations to co-create impactful solutions that contribute to Rwanda’s sustainable development.

I joined Catalyst 2030 because of its unwavering commitment to solving the world’s most pressing social and environmental challenges through collaboration and systemic change. As the CEO and Founder of Philemon Farm Enterprise, I have seen the power of collective action in creating sustainable solutions, especially in the areas of food security, job creation, and environmental conservation. At Philemon Farm Enterprise, we train individuals in mushroom farming, provide free mushroom seeds, and create jobs that help alleviate malnutrition and poverty. We also contribute to environmental sustainability by making charcoal briquettes from expired mushroom seeds, addressing ecosystem degradation and climate change. Catalyst 2030 offers a global platform that connects like-minded changemakers, fostering innovation and partnerships that can amplify our work. By joining, I aim to learn from others, share insights, and collaborate on impactful projects that will drive meaningful change, not just in my community but globally. Through Catalyst 2030, I am confident that I will have the opportunity to expand my network, access valuable resources, and contribute to shaping a more equitable and sustainable future for all.
