Safe + Healthy Starts Collaboration

The Safe + Healthy Starts Collaboration is a global gathering led by Solar Health Uganda (SHU). It is about sharing knowledge, connecting, and discussing the interconnected challenges impacting maternal and infant health within members’ own communities. The collaboration brings together diverse stakeholders to exchange experiences and work collectively towards improving the status quo. This collaboration is open to a global community that is CBOs, NGOs, researchers, scholars, government leaders, students and individuals with an interest in maternal and infant health—especially those working in: programming, advocacy, research and those simply curious to learn more.

The primary motivation for joining Catalyst 2030 was the opportunity to be part of a global movement dedicated to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovative, collaborative, and impactful solutions. The ethos of Catalyst 2030 resonated deeply with our mission at the AFHEG Foundation, as we strive to enhance climate-health literacy and address pressing health challenges in Uganda. We look forward to forging meaningful partnerships that can support our initiatives.
