Beyond Good Intentions: Making Policy Work for African Social Enterprises

06-11-2025 14:00:00

English

Policy has the potential to unlock financing, incentives, and access to new markets for Africa’s social and solidarity economy. Yet many social entrepreneurs and ecosystem enablers remain disconnected from the policy landscape and its complexities. Addressing this gap can drive stronger recognition, growth, and sustainability for the sector. This virtual session will examine the current policy environment, what needs to change, and how to bridge the gap between policy and practice, ensuring that policymaking processes align with the needs of those most affected.
