Converging Forces: Technology, Agriculture & Finance for Rural Silver Economy

Aurora Silver Women Entrepreneurs is an inclusion alliance that integrates artificial intelligence (MIIDO), contract farming, and financial inclusion (WEIA), supported with technical assistance from Fundación Alpina, to empower older rural women in Rosas and Sucre (Cauca), territories historically affected by violence. Through strategic partnerships with technological, commercial, and social actors, this initiative strengthens the rural silver economy by improving incomes, formalizing markets, and closing digital divides. The session will demonstrate how the convergence of diverse sectors can transform communities and foster dialogue to replicate and scale this model in other territories.
