Future of Jobs: From Hustle to Scale
Across Africa, young people have long powered economies through creativity, resilience, and the relentless drive of the hustle. As the continent’s job landscape evolves, it’s clear that real transformation requires more than individual effort; it demands systems that enable scale, inclusion, and sustainability.
This session, hosted by Africa Forward, will spotlight the organization’s Job Creation and Skills Development Pillar, which focuses on building pathways to sustainable employment through skills training, enterprise support, and job linkage. By creating opportunities for young people, especially women, we aim to uplift communities and contribute to economic growth across Africa.
Bringing together social innovators, ecosystem leaders, and regional policymakers, this discussion will explore how policy alignment, public-private collaboration, and regional integration can accelerate systemic job creation.
Through dynamic dialogue and evidence-based insights, this session will:
– Unpack how to move Africa’s youth from informal hustles to sustainable livelihoods.
– Explore regional policy frameworks that enable job creation at scale.
– Highlight practical models linking skills, opportunity, and enterprise for lasting impact.n
Join us as we reimagine the future of jobs in Africa, one where coordinated action between policymakers, change makers, and communities drives the shift from hustle to systems change.
