Mobilising the private sector to invest in climate-related health programs

The effect of climate change on human health is becoming increasingly obvious. Yet, adaptation funding, especially for the most vulnerable people to build resilience towards climate change and improve their well-being despite the growing threat they face is lagging greatly. Moreover, ‘frontline’ innovations that address both climate change mitigation and adaptation are possible but need to take root and branch out much more. This session will ask diverse entrepreneurs from the world of health, technology, finance and media to ideate or share climate and health solutions from and for the frontline from their sector, and commit to learning from other sectors covered in the session to take their own ideas and ventures to the next level.
