Powering Safe + Healthy Starts: Action for Maternal and Infant Health

This interactive workshop invites participants to join the Safe + Healthy Starts Collaboration in co-creating sustainable, practical, and innovative solutions for maternal and infant health in sub-Saharan Africa. Rooted in the belief that no mother or baby should be left behind, we bring an energy access perspective while seeking to integrate complementary approaches such as clean water, nutrition, skilled care, education, and advocacy. Together, we’ll identify barriers, share ideas, and begin to design interlinked, cross-sector strategies that strengthen systems of care and drive lasting impact in underserved, off-grid communities.
