Who Owns the Data? Indigenous Sovereignty in the Age of AI
Join us for the first session of First Nations Learning Series, a learning session amplifying Indigenous voices on the critical issues of our time.
In this opening session, we are honored to welcome Lisa Pizzoni, an expert in Indigenous sovereignty, data governance, and AI. Lisa will explore how Indigenous communities are reclaiming control over their own data — and why this matters for the future of evidence-based policy.
This series will rotate across regions and time zones, featuring speakers from the Pacific, South America, and North America, reflecting the richness and diversity of Indigenous knowledge and leadership worldwide.
