I'm Abayomi Ogundipe. I've spent the last ten-plus years building and running programs and products for organizations doing mission-driven work, first as a nonprofit co-founder, and for the last three years as founder of my own design studio. I got there through two very different jobs. For ten years I co-founded and ran TEKEDU, a technology-education nonprofit in Moldova. I built GirlsGoIT, our flagship program, from three districts to twenty-six of Moldova's thirty-five, reaching more than 5,200 girls, and moved it from being fully donor dependent to government supported. Across a decade of grants from funders like UNICEF, UN Women, and USAID, I kept 100% on-time reporting and 100% compliance. In 2023 I founded Festa Design Studio, where I do the same kind of work in a different form: end-to-end product design, program and grant design, and content strategy for nonprofits and impact startups, plus hands-on development, including a crisis-reporting tool I built for a UNDP global challenge, using Claude Code as part of how I build production software. I like taking something complicated and making it usable for a specific person, whether that's a funder reading a report or a teenager picking up a laptop for the first time.
