Action for Women and Children’s Empowerment (AWCE-SL))-Sierra Leone, is non-profit making, and non-tribal organization. Is a community organization (CBO), it was formally registered with the Government local ministries of Sierra Leone. And is a member of civil society organizations, which focused on improving the lives of women and youth’s empowerment, wash in governance, health and nutrition, advocacy on women and youths and children in Sierra Leone through advocacy, wash in governance, climate change, education and child protection/safe-guiding and human rights and sustainable agricultural development and empowerment initiatives. The organization works to address issues such as community development, access to education, and healthcare services, etc. By promoting young people and women’s rights and empowering communities. Vision Statement: Is to reach out to women, adolescents, children, and young people ensuring development, advocacy, climent change, child protection programs, gender concerns; and legislative support of their Living Standard for a better future. Mission Statement: We provide assistance to vulnerable women, adolescents, children, and youths empowerment. The main aim of the organization AWCE-SL is to asset and promotes the Development of poor rural communities by strengthening grassroots Development and initiatives towards poverty alleviation. Action for Women and Children’s Empowerment (AWCE-SL)), works in two chiefdoms in Bo District that is Baoma and Jimm-Boabu Chiefdoms and two chiefdoms in Pujehun District is Perri and Barri chiefdoms and two chiefdoms in Kenema District is Koya, Niawa Chiefdoms in Sierra Leone.
