Back to School Educational Initiative(BASEI)

The Back to School Educational Initiative (BASEI) is a dedicated non-governmental organization committed to transforming the educational landscape for underserved children and youth. We specialize in designing and implementing impactful educational interventions, strengthening community learning facilities, and leveraging digital tools to promote transparency and accountability in local development. Through technical capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and targeted grassroots mobilization, BASEI bridges the gap between vulnerable communities and quality learning opportunities, ensuring that every child has a safe, supportive environment to thrive academically. Our Vision To build a society where every child—regardless of socio-economic background—has equitable access to quality education, empowering them to become innovative leaders and active contributors to community development. Our Mission To revitalize grassroots education through sustainable facility improvements, innovative learning media, and robust community-led advocacy. We achieve this by: Strengthening Infrastructure: Renovating and equipping local learning spaces to create safe, conducive environments for children. Empowering Communities: Training local stakeholders, advocates, and facilitators to actively participate in educational governance and digital accountability. Fostering Strategic Partnerships: Collaborating with regional stakeholders, international donors, and civil society to scale educational access and institutional stability.

I am driven by a profound belief that local, grassroots action is the true catalyst for systemic change. I am eager to join the Catalysts now Community because my professional philosophy aligns perfectly with your movement: shifting the paradigm of development from passive aid to active, community-led transformation. In my work across governance, monitoring, and evaluation, I have realized that these complex institutional challenges cannot be solved in isolation. I look forward to collaborating within this ecosystem of forward-thinking changemakers to break down silos, amplify our collective voice, and co-create sustainable, data-driven models for lasting social impact.
