Bizrupt is a dynamic non-profit organization focused on fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in Crete and the Greek islands. Its mission includes strengthening the entrepreneurial culture, maturing business ideas, developing regional entrepreneurial ecosystems, contributing to sustainable development, and acting as innovation facilitators. Through various activities like inspiration and networking events, capacity building, SDGs advocacy, bootcamps, hackathons, community building, ecosystem promotion, and entrepreneurial awareness, Bizrupt addresses critical challenges such as youth unemployment, reluctance to work in available positions, lack of entrepreneurial awareness, skill mismatches, limited access to resources, brain drain, gender inequality in entrepreneurship, and the need for technological adaptation. By integrating sustainability principles into its programs and promoting eco-friendly business models, Bizrupt aims to create a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports innovation and business growth while ensuring long-term environmental and economic health. Bizrupt's targeted activities and initiatives aim to inspire and support individuals in their entrepreneurial journeys, promoting collaboration and fostering a supportive community that drives positive change and sustainable growth in the region. The outcomes of the above programs are the social impact of Bizrupt: - Programs’ beneficiaries: 1131 - New businesses: 83 - 85% of the beneficiaries had a positive outcome in terms of employability and had success (employed, business launched, etc.) - Events/workshops participants: 9037
