 HOIMA

I am drawn to Catalyst Now’s mission of uniting social innovators, entrepreneurs, funders, academics, and governments to drive systemic transformation and advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. I want to be part of a movement that doesn’t just respond to global challenges, but works at the root level to shift systems through innovation, equity, and shared leadership. Catalyst Now isn’t just a platform, it is a space for belonging, for bold ideas, impactful collaboration and for leaders like me who believe in transforming barriers into bridges to connect. I am ready to contribute, learn, and grow within this global family of change makers through sharing field-level insight from refugee contexts with a global audience, learning and co-creating with other leaders committed to systemic change, amplify the voices of underrepresented innovators, especially those from marginalized and displaced communities and strengthen my organization’s ability to scale impact across regions. I hope to acquire strong leadership skills, strong entrepreneurial competencies, a strong network of people from diverse backgrounds with different professions that will help me improve and grow my initiatives through knowledge transfer, capacity building and sharing, I also hope to gain extended knowledge on how to brand my business. On the contrary, I hope to share with the rest of the members a spectrum of my skills and knowledge in strong negotiation strategies, excellent sales and marketing, leadership management skills, research skills and more.
