Elimu Yetu Development Organization

Elimu Yetu offers free education for children, youth and adults in Arusha, Tanzania. For children we offer preschool and afterschool education, nutritional support, academic tutoring and extracurricular programs. For youth and adults, we offer short courses in technology, vocational skills, arts and languages. We also offer volunteer opportunities, host community events and run a public library. All of our programs are offered 100% free to the community in Kijenge, Arusha, Tanzania.

We are looking to share the best practices we have learned from the last 10 years and also to learn from other organizations, particularly those working in East Africa with communities similar to ours, and other with innovative approaches in the education sector. I have experience with founding an NGO including compliance, project management, finance, hr and international legal issues related to charitable funding. I am fluent in Kiswahili and English. I also have skills in web development, design and digital marketing. I look forward to learning from you all and helping other worthy projects where I am able.
