Emmanuel Ndikumana (Independent)

I am Emmanuel Ndikumana, a Rwandan youth advocate, community development practitioner, digital skills trainer, entrepreneurship mentor, and climate action advocate passionate about empowering young people and underserved communities through education, technology, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. I currently serve as a Program Officer at Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) Rwanda, where I coordinate digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment initiatives. Through my work, I have supported thousands of young entrepreneurs, coached Digital Champions and Business Coaches, strengthened community partnerships, and contributed to programs that help youth develop digital skills, grow businesses, access opportunities, and create sustainable livelihoods. Beyond my professional role, I am committed to community-driven change. I have been involved in initiatives focused on climate action, education, youth leadership, and social inclusion through organizations and networks such as We Got Your Back NGO and Wikimedia Rwanda. My work focuses on creating opportunities for young people to become innovators, entrepreneurs, and active contributors to their communities. My mission is to empower youth and communities with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to overcome social and economic challenges, promote inclusive development, and build resilient communities. I believe that access to quality education, digital skills, entrepreneurship support, and climate awareness can unlock the potential of individuals and transform societies. My vision is a world where every young person, regardless of their background, has the opportunity to learn, innovate, create sustainable solutions, and contribute to positive change. I envision communities where technology, entrepreneurship, and environmental responsibility work together to create inclusive and sustainable futures. Through leadership, mentorship, collaboration, and continuous learning, I strive to bridge gaps between knowledge and opportunity while supporting young people to become leaders of today and tomorrow.
