Enterprise Growth Hub

Enterprise Growth Hub is a social innovation initiative founded in Mitooma District, Western Uganda, with a mission to eradicate extreme poverty through entrepreneurship-led economic transformation. We incubate and support entrepreneurs—particularly youth and women—from underserved and rural communities to build sustainable, scalable, and bankable enterprises. Our work is rooted in the belief that entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful tools for lifting families out of poverty and restoring dignity, resilience, and opportunity. Many communities in rural Uganda are rich in potential but lack structured support systems to turn ideas and informal activities into viable businesses. Enterprise Growth Hub exists to bridge that gap. Through structured incubation, mentorship, business development support, financial literacy training, market linkages, and investment readiness preparation, we help entrepreneurs transition from subsistence ventures to growth-oriented enterprises. We focus not only on enterprise creation but also on enterprise sustainability, job creation, and long-term economic inclusion. Our approach strengthens local ecosystems by connecting entrepreneurs to financial institutions, development partners, and markets, ensuring they become creditworthy and investment-ready. Our Mission To incubate and scale entrepreneurs in rural and underserved communities, enabling them to create sustainable businesses, generate employment, and become financially resilient, thereby eradicating extreme poverty at the grassroots level. Our Vision A thriving rural economy where every aspiring entrepreneur has access to the support, skills, networks, and capital needed to build sustainable enterprises and transform their communities. Enterprise Growth Hub is driven by a community-centered and impact-first philosophy. We believe solutions to poverty must be locally grounded, inclusive, and innovation-driven. By equipping entrepreneurs with the right tools and support systems, we aim to unlock economic potential, foster resilience to shocks such as climate change and market instability, and contribute to inclusive growth in Western Uganda and beyond. Our long-term ambition is to build a strong rural entrepreneurship ecosystem that not only supports business survival but enables enterprises to scale, create decent jobs, and drive sustainable community transformation.
