Everyone is Creative (Eviscreat) Foundation (U)

I am a Telecom Engineer, Project Manager, Design thinking, and Product design enthusiast with experience and a keen interest in designing and running projects on Child Development Educational, Sustainability and Climate Change, Design Thinking @ Everyone is Creative Foundation Uganda. Everyone is Creative Foundation (Eviscreat Foundation (U)) is an NGO I co-founded whose ,mission is to teach, use and advocate for innovation, creativity, and design for all youth and children especially those in marginalized and underserved communities to change their mindset, build their resilience and capacity to identify problems within their environments and communities as well as sustainable solutions that are viable, feasible and above all impactful while ensuring longevity and sustainability. Eviscreat Foundation (U) started its first project titled The Growth Mindset Project for children and youth ranging from the ages of 6 to 24 years old engaging them and their educators in workshops and play sessions. The project is built on educational psychology research by Dr. Carol Dweck on the growth mindset that we used to develop The Mindset Blueprint. It is aided by an educational board game we call P.O.S.S.I.B.L.E The World of Mindsets that we designed to engage the children in a fun and interactive way that actively gets them to think about their mindset and how it affects how well they do at anything they try, as well as the social emotional learning and cognitive skills that they intuitively acquire overtime as they play the game in the wide area of places the game was designed to be played including the classroom, at home, at children events within the school and community setting. The project has now reached 5 schools within our neighboring communities of Kitende, Kajjansi, Lubowa and Bweya engaging over 500 students and 50 educators with whom we are attempting to build a supportive and sustainable ecosystem for children to learn, grow and thrive regardless of their background or social status. Our vision is to see all children and youth living upto their full potential regardless of the resources at their disposal or lack of.
