Giulia Baldi (Independent)

I am an international community builder and cross-cultural connector passionate about creating meaningful relationships that enable collaboration, learning and positive social impact. Having lived, studied and worked across Europe and China, I have come to believe that many of today's challenges are not only solved through innovation, but through our ability to connect people with different perspectives, experiences and backgrounds. My work has therefore increasingly focused on building bridges between cultures, communities and ecosystems. Professionally, I have worked across international business development, open innovation and entrepreneurship, supporting collaborations between organizations from around the world. Alongside my professional experience, I have become deeply involved in communities that promote youth leadership, dialogue and social innovation. I currently serve as Vice-Coordinator of the China–Italy Young Professionals Network, am a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community in Shanghai, and recently joined the first cohort of the Go Global Talent Program, bringing together young talents from nearly 50 countries and regions to explore cross-cultural collaboration and the future of Chinese companies going global. My mission is to create spaces where people feel connected, welcomed and empowered to contribute their perspectives. I believe that trust, curiosity and genuine human connection are essential foundations for systemic change, and that diverse communities can become powerful catalysts for collective action when people are given the opportunity to learn from one another. Looking ahead, I hope to continue contributing to initiatives that strengthen local communities while connecting them to global networks. My vision is to help foster ecosystems where collaboration is the default, diversity is embraced as a strength, and people from different backgrounds come together to co-create solutions with lasting social impact.

I am interested in joining Catalyst Now because I believe lasting change happens when we move beyond individual efforts and build collective power across communities. I am inspired by the idea of bringing diverse perspectives together to challenge root causes, reshape systems, and create more inclusive futures. I hope to contribute to a community where changemakers connect, learn from one another, and turn shared visions into meaningful action.
