Impacta Lab

After 30 years leading education, from the classroom to the Principal’s office, I realized that for students to truly change the world, the classroom must stop being a simulation and start being an incubator. In 2017, inspired by the B-Corp movement, I began transforming traditional academic excellence into "Aprender con Propósito" (APP). This methodology ensures learning is driven by real-world utility, social impact, and personal agency. I co-founded Impacta Lab, a female-led innovation hub that acts as a catalyst for the next generation of "B-Entrepreneurs." Our work spans the entire social spectrum. Through our foundational project, "Soy el CEO de mi vida," we work with teenagers in underserved communities to help them identify their innate passions. By teaching them to govern their own "Life Project," we provide the self-leadership necessary to break cycles of hopelessness. We then bridge this foundation with high-level entrepreneurial incubation, such as our "Margarita Boost Lab," where local leaders and students collaborate to develop viable, Triple Impact solutions. Our mission is to dismantle the walls between education and the professional world, transforming schools into innovation labs that prioritize Radical Inclusion. We specifically champion girls in STEAM and treat neurodiversity as a cognitive superpower. By leveraging the unique "out-of-the-box" thinking and deep empathy of these students, we ensure that the solutions created are not only innovative but profoundly human. My vision is a global educational landscape where every student—regardless of their socio-economic background or cognitive profile—graduates with the agency and conscience of a changemaker. At Impacta Lab, we aren't just teaching; we are nurturing the leaders who will solve our planet’s most pressing challenges with creativity, purpose, and heart.
