ImpactaYA

As a Peruvian Young Leader with the Unlock Coalition at the UN Foundation and a Youth Advisor at Teach For All’s Global Advisory Council for the Global Institute, I have been deeply involved in advancing youth participation and education equity across Latin America and globally. In these roles, I have contributed to designing youth consultation frameworks, advising on cross-regional projects and co-creating strategies that help organizations center youth leadership in program implementation. In 2024, I co-founded ImpactaYA, an initiative that empowers young people across Latin America to design and implement projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. Through impactaYA, we have supported 100 students in transforming ideas into tangible community impact, strengthening their leadership, critical thinking, and sense of agency. The initiative was recognized by the International Baccalaureate for its contribution to advancing SDG 4 (quality education), further amplifying its reach and credibility.

I hope to contribute by bringing a youth perspective and experience in advancing education equity across Latin America. Through my work with the UN Foundation, Teach For All, and I=ImpactaYA, I’ve supported youth-led initiatives and consultation processes. I want to help others better engage young people in decision-making. In return, I hope to learn how to scale impact, collaborate across sectors and strengthen systems-level change.
