Independent (Abdoul Nasser Soumana)
With a master's degree in development and project management, I have gained experience in project management, monitoring-evaluation, accountability and policy and program learning in four (4) West African countries (Burkina Faso, Niger, Nigeria and Chad). These experiences have enabled me to acquire solid knowledge in several intervention sectors: food security and livelihoods, nutrition, access to water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), health (Maternal, Neonatal and Infant Reproductive Health and Youth/Adolescent Health/Nutrition), protection/GBV, gender and inclusion, shelter/AME, education, economic opportunities and quality assurance, etc. I have a solid knowledge of SPHERE and humanitarian quality and accountability (CHS) standards in humanitarian action, given my experience in humanitarian crises (Lake Chad crisis and the tri-border area between Burkina, Mali and Niger). I have always taken into account the gender and inclusion approach in the MEAL strategy. I have also gained experience in working with local and international organizations, where I have actively contributed to building their capacities. The donors I have worked with are: USAID, DANIDA, NORAD, ECHO, EU, GAC Foundation, AFD, IRISH AID, DFID, KFW, UNHCR, PAM, Caritas Belgique, Autorité du Liptako Gourma.
