Independent (Ainan Tajrian)

With interests in social science research and project management, Ainan Tajrian is a Business and Socio-economic Research Consultant. Her work ethos is to design optimum plans by employing her technical knowledge, organizing instinct, and investigative enthusiasm. She is a seasoned consultant with experience of more than 3 years in developing strategic plans for projects, leading and contributing to projects with relevant insights, maintaining communication with different types of stakeholders, and coordinating project activities. Ainan has achieved her BBA and MBA degrees, majoring in Finance & Banking, from Bangladesh University of Professionals. Her portfolio includes research and consultancy projects and reports on entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem, digital commerce and economy, platform economy, access to finance, with a special focus on gender lens investing, with relevant experience in working with entities like UNDP Bangladesh, UNESCAP, iDEA, a2i, SME Foundation, Joyeeta Foundation, Oxford Internet Institute, University of Edinburgh, e-Cab, etc. Ainan has led the Fairwork Bangladesh Ratings 2023, with the University of Oxford, as a Research Manager. She has worked on the development of the cross-border digital commerce policy draft commissioned by e-CAB. She also worked on the development of Bangladesh Startup Ecosystem Assessment Report of UNESCAP and many other projects on the startup and SME entrepreneurship ecosystem and the digital economy of Bangladesh, with different government and private entities. She is also a Secretariat Member of the Bangladesh Chapter of Catalyst 2030, facilitating the Chapter to plan and coordinate the core activities and upcoming plans.
