Independent (Ashok Kumar)

I am a social impact professional with over 11 years of experience designing, implementing, and scaling programmes across education, public health, livelihoods, and youth development in rural and urban India. My work has focused on programme strategy, monitoring and evaluation, and building government and NGO partnerships to deliver data-driven, community-centred solutions. I have led multi-thematic portfolios, mobilised significant funding, and supported organisations to adopt digital/MIS tools so that decisions and impact reporting are grounded in evidence. In short, I work at the intersection of programme strategy, MEL, and partnerships, helping social sector organisations design and scale evidence-based programmes in education, health, livelihoods, and youth development across India.

I believe movements for social change are stronger when practitioners learn, experiment, and problem-solve together across themes and geographies. Over the last 11+ years, I have worked on program strategy, MEL, and partnerships across education, public health, livelihoods, and youth development, and I would like to contribute by sharing practical insights on designing & scaling data-driven programs, building government and NGO collaboration and strengthening digital/MIS systems for impact.
