I am the Economic Advisor to H.E. The Governor, Prof. P. Anyang' Nyong'o, County Government of Kisumu, Kenya. I am also the Secretary, Kisumu Economic and Social Council (KECOSOC). I prepare policy briefs on macroeconomic, financial and monetary policy isuues and mobilize resources for the development of Kisumu County. I contribute to the coordination of County Governments's relations with bilateral and multilateral agencies. I conduct and coordinate economic research on topics of strategic interest to the Governor, brief the Governor on the latest developments and emerging issues locally and globally, advise the Governor and County Committees on all aspects of economic, financial and fiscal policy. I also attend meetings on sectoral issues related to regional and international co-operation.

Share new ideas on how re-structuring sub Saharan Africa's public debt provides investment opportunities in public education and health institutions to improve Youth skills and well being. This will create quality employment with the Youth equiped with the capacity to add value to various value chains locally instead of exporting raw materoals. This will be done in a respectful partnership with private firms from the European Union pemised on acceptable profits to drive sustainability.
